This is a Herend cachepot with ram‑head handles in the Apponyi Raspberry pattern, made in 1970. It measures 5 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 5 inches in both length and diameter (12.5–20 cm), a handy size for a table or windowsill. The white porcelain shows a raspberry floral motif with gold on the rim and the sculpted ram heads. Condition is near mint, with clean glaze and bright original gilding—great for display or a small plant. At roughly 55 years old, it’s solidly vintage, and this ram‑handle shape is less common than standard bowls or plates.
Herend is the Hungarian porcelain manufactory founded in 1826, celebrated for hand‑painted wares. Each piece is formed from hard‑paste porcelain, fired multiple times, and finished by artists who paint the pattern and apply real gold by hand.
