This is a Herend Queen Victoria vase from 1970, hand painted and finished with rich gilt in a lively Rococo shape. The body features a bright peony spray with multicolor leaves, framed by scrolling, openwork foliage washed in soft apple green and highlighted with gold. A scalloped rim and pierced foot keep it light and elegant, and the glossy glaze shows off the colors beautifully. Herend is Hungary’s celebrated porcelain maker, known since the 1820s for fully hand‑painted work.
